285 meters IXC April 44. I figured "why not?" as I was being pursued by 3 DE's who apparently had nothing better to do

. Sonar conditions were excellent (for them). After about 6 hours real-time, 2 had left and the other was out of dc's. It was a buggar but I got away.

Only to be sunk about 10 days later by a Liberator
