Umm, I respectfully have to disagree here. A 400 ton tin can such as this should be torn to peices by 4" shells. And I am aware of the waterline issue. I was at very close range so all my shots were delivered below the waterline. No flooding ever occured in that bow section. And there is no way that an air pocket in a compartment of that size could keep 400 tons afloat.
