Better yet: tell those fellow's who can't even name their own states, that there is something beyond LA and NY.
I'm very often in contact with young americans who happen to visit europe.
You should expect that a 25 year old man of good education is well settled in his understanding of the world....
But even though I've seen it before now, it surprises me all the times again what they tell me years later about "opening eyes" and "totally different view".
And keep in mind that europe is only ONE possible place to go and have a look with your own eyes.
