Now for the screen rendering, I have the monitor and game both set to 1280 x 800 @ 60Hz and the black area at the top is still there. I've tried it with different monitor res also. There's no point changing the res of the game unless I want to go back to less than 10 fps but that's another issue.

What I did fail to mention also was that has anyone noticed a framerate drop when looking through the scopes, binocs and UZO at zoom factor? Mine seems to skip a frame and is creating a slight havoc on the cpu.
