They date from WW1, but were still in use at the begining of WW2. The Germans captured over 1,000 of them when they took france. They used them for airfield defence. There greatest weakness was the drive wheel for the tank treads, not only was it large, but it was made of Wood!
And I thought the Germans didn't like to kamikaze.
