It's always a little sad to read up on those ships that have gone through so much and been there for so many people even saved them as a hospital ship, and then were just broken up like any piece of metal. Getting nostalgic here ...

I felt the same way when I read about the first aircraft carrier named Enterprise. Most decorated ship of the war. Served the whole time and participated in every major operation and after the war was just scrapped. Seems kind of heartless.
