Well I second that, but there is an advantage because the OS utilizes both cores and makes some load balancing. Thats the way SHIII derives benefit.
I upgraded from SocketA to S939. Had a good AGP-Card and RAM and thats the only way to keep it.
Opteron 185 (Works as quick as a 64X2 4800+) plus 4 GB Ram, paging reduced to a mximum of 512 MB
I am quite satisfied. Now I can sit down, lean back, drink my tea and wait for AM3 Systems with quadro Core CPUs.
