This does happen. Espicially at that time being sent to the solomons was a common task. It is a large part of what was done in that theater. Two in a row is not at all uncommon. Ive been sent back to the same area three or 4 different times in a row although the 'mission' varied from "patrol" to "sink enemy shipping".
Just last night I got two 'lifeguard dutys' in a row now thats rare. Hate that damn duty.
But I digress. It sounds to me like your doing everything fine. Just a bad coincedince. If you get to 6 in a row somethin is screwy
