Thanks all, I'm thinking it was heat related issue as I don't get problems most times at sea or in the air.
GT182 (sounds familiar from the Il2 boards?), it's a 9800Pro but with an XT bios and running at XT defaults. Fitted an Arctic Silencer Rev 3 (from memory) and has always been okay for Oleg's fantastic work. Cooling can be an issue for me but usually it's the CPU. Looks like I can stick with what I've got, at least until BoB comes out
