I saw this subject last night before going on patrol, so I decided to have a go if I could. Roughly halfway through I munched a tanker and a small freighter, and watched the destroyers signalling.

As far as I can tell, the message is looped. You can always tell the gap between the letters, but there is a gap of about 1-2 seconds, roughly every half a minute or so. Turns out i'm hopeless at reading morse but I know the transmission starts with dash dot dot (D) and ends with a dash (E).

I'll try and get something else if I can.
