Got caught in shallow water after chasing a merchant in to finish her off (I'd installed the mods in the wrong order and it took 5 torpedo hits and over 50 shells to sink a stinkin small composite freighter, chased her into the shallows out of frustration
). Only 40ft under the keel. Dodged the first aircraft's attack with no damage but went down cuz the second one dropped one bomb almost right on the deck.
Fighting aircraft is what carriers were made for
