Some where in that folder there is a type of cache for the game that carries over into all saves and restarts from orginal game set up. When you finaly start the game again it will build a brand new save file all by it's self. There is a slight chance it could be card releated but the info I have gotten from people show both ATI and Nvidia card's some have it and some do not. Again no common denominator and that makes it harder to track it down. I am sure if I could HEX read it would be easier for me but seeing I either have to rely on others for that or need tool that do it for me it is slow figuring it out. I have a feeling there is something in either the shaders folder or in the base files for the game that are making the difference.
