Wait, what? They were exact? I always figured they extended in the opposite direction from the STATED heading of the contact. Well. Now that I know they weren't so, I'm glad they'll be gone.
Perhaps they could be replaced with tails that act the way I thought? No information you aren't already given, just a (perhaps misleading) visual aid?
