I would also add a faster HDD to the list. IMO, HDD speed is at least as important to loading times as the CPU, because what is taking so much time is precisely the operation of reading files from the HDD into memory. So, I'd say: Go for SATA 3Gb, or SATA2, as it is also known. |
Just a guess but maybe de fragging your HDD may help as the it won't have to seek out your mods all over the place.
