Why not? I just had to buy a new LCD, and while it will go up to 75Hz, the "optimal" setting is 60Hz. I left it on 60, but my bro-in-law has always said the higher the better, so I'd like to know why you say not.

its because of the way CRT's and LCD's refresh the image on the screen
