Am I just seeing things,or have you or anyone else noticed that anomoly?

That is why you can see the sun's halo through the sub's hull and why when the sub's hull is placed in a camera view after and before a sun set you can see the sun's halo effect through the water.
Also why the lightning appears through the sub's hull. I have a feeling there is something in the Shader files that controls this but again with no program that works with them it is up the the Hex readers to find the problem in them and try to repair it.
This is also why the crew becomes transparent as the fog starts to build something to do with either the shaders or game rendering.

Yep that's been one of the things that always annoyed me, being able to see the lens flare from the sun right thru your conning tower! Also the "see-thru" watch crew. Haven't had chance yet to see lightning but that might bother me too if it is shining thru my hull
But hey, I'll take what I can get! I cut my teeth on sub sims nearly 20 years ago with MicroProse's Silent Service II on my Amiga 2000. Looked like total crap compared to unmodded SH4 but somehow it was more addictive than crack! Now thanks to ROW the SH4 graphics are mind-boggling. I'm just waiting on a mod that will bring back that "addictive" SS2 gameplay.
Won't hold my breath though, I'm thinking that addictive quality of SS2 was a combo of my youth at the time, plus the total novelty of actually having a kick-ass computer. No "modern" game has ever recaptured the "magic" of those early, graphics-poor games for me

God I hate getting old...
BTW, I finally got to see some ROW sea foam briefly. Actually had 14 m/s winds for nearly an hour of gametime, where before it was at
constant 0 m/s! Looked fantastic, but strange happenings. I'd be looking at this gorgeous foam from the conning deck, and it would suddenly,
instantly disappear

Then a little later come back, then instantly disappear again. Anyone else seen anything like that?
