Sometimes when you unzip a downloaded mod, there's actually a duplicate named folder inside a folder; IE; SOUNDPACK MOD/SOUNDPACK MOD/ sound files.
Make sure when you copy and pasted, you only copied the the very last (inside) soundpack folder.
And using JGSME would be much better than just copying over the game files.
