Just gotta say . If your boat is battle ready,than why in the hell do you have to go out on patrol with no suface radar , this always happens on the very first patrol . than you return to port and than you can refit your boat with the surface radar.In my current patrol , I took the USS gato {SS-212} after doing the sea trials . I thought now I could buy a surface radar . But too no avail , Guess to me its a great tool . I have used it in USS Tambor . was able to take here for 10 patrols . than I got hit really bad and sank ! TM is a great Mod, Its Good as GWX in sh3
I gotta say going up bungo strait . Well I was just plain jittery , A New boat and a new crew , Didnt wish too get her sunk on her first madien combat cruise . But i intercepted a large tanker and sank her with 2 toprs at the halfway beam setting . she wasnt a big mess like other ships that i have sank . I Was just very surprised to sink her with 2 toprps , continuning with my new USS Gato . see you skippers on the virtual seas ..
