well,
I've used the Il2 a couple of times, and it can take the punishment...
really I've seen my plane so shot up..that I was amazed that it still let me fly it.
and as a Enemy fighter shooting it with another pilot,
I was flabbergasted what we put into the IL 2 and still crawled home
