Although I still havnt encountered a Yamato
.. I find that with ships of the BB design (mainly Fusos and Kongos) aiming a fish under the boilers (ie. stacks) , two under the bridge, and the rest between the two forward main guns, usually results in a near instant destruction (stacks= no propulsion, bridge=no command and under turreets=ammunition)
