My fav has to be the satisfying sound of a Torpedo slaming into the side of... well just about anything.

The part I hate the most about all WW2 subsims... Knowing after playing SH3 and the problems i have with the torpedos in the Altantic i'm just going to have to deal with them again in the Pacific
