Back on topic though... I must admit I didn't even know the US had a Rugby team. How much funding does it get, is the sport covered in the National Press? Whats the coverage of the World Cup like in the US?

As someone who was made by one of his American Students to sit through the last US Superbowl at 3am, I'm intregued by the idea that the US plays a varient of American Football which does not involve stopping and starting every 20 seconds.

Well, let’s just say that I didn't know we had a Rugby team, never once seen any highlights on ANY sports channel, and know absolutely nothing about the World Cup. I would say the coverage is fairly minimal. I actually wouldn't mind watching us beat the Brits...
