Apathy mate, that's what it is.

- pigs on the motorway - everytime I've broken down and used one of those emergency phones and spoken to an operator, a car has arrived withing a matter of a couple of minues. Certainly my trip up the M1 and the A50 last weekend saw about a dozen rozzers driving along.

- other drivers and the law - so many times I've lost count.

- car phone guy - deserves it like everybody else; trouble is he'll probably have to kill some poor sod first before anything serious happens. A m8 of mine got 4 points and a 90 quid fine for using his mobile phone in a stationary traffic jam to tell work he'd be late. Nice... meet those targets, bust that quango goal.

- all of the above - it's cynically perceived that the easiest people to convict/fine etc are the ones the police go for, but maybe that is because they're the easiest?
