Hi Incubus... you must to understand it is not SH III.
May be you like it... may be not, but, it what we have. :p
Main reparir team... is the compartement crew.
You can help them with the Damage Control team.
At first... choice well your crew at port, you will need crew with repair skills if you are severe damage, and when at sea, it is too later.
Mehcanical and electricians are the better.
When you have damage... inmediatelly call for "all crew to battlestations"
Check what kind of crew you have into the damaged compartement... replace them by electicians and mechanicals... if they are wounded, replace them by non wounded crew.
Go to the items control panel, and put the bulkheads at top.... move the more damaged bulkhaed at top of the others bulkheads.
If you have the main pump damaged, put it following the bulkheads...
Attempt to not change the "indamage" depth... remember it and attempt to not change it, if you can use low speed, but if you are unable to maintain depth, just increase speed...
Only if you are under big risk, dive... but remember, your hull is stressed and your normal crush depth was changed to a shalower one... in example a 185m crush depth sub, if severe damaged can have now a 50/60/70m crush depth....
Do not dive quickly, just make small depth changes, in example 5m by 5m... when the sub is stabilized... go for 5m more.
If you start to sink uncontroilable.... just apply power or you are done.
If you start up to hear hull crush noise... it is because you are near or under the "new unknowed" crush depth, attempt to not dive more, and go shallow quickly... change depth to shalow, and increase power...
Those noises means the sub is taking damage... at a called "crash speed", it is the speed at wich the sub take damage.... when you are some time under this condition.... the knowed as "domino effect" is triggered... and a a lot and intense damage is taked and you are done.
