They get so frazzeled in trying to get the sub, they forget about other things, Like the big ships of the convoy. All of a sudden, depth charging all the way the captain looks up to see a Large Modern Split Frieghter in his way
. While depth charging continues he calls all back emergency. He backs his ship back over the depth charges set to shallow, and blows himself up as the charges go off just below the hull of his ship. It's a Ahh Crap moment :rotfl: , but they don't do it often, so don't count on it happening, cause when you want that third destroyer to blow himself up, he won't. Another thing, if you see a gunboat and a destroyer working together, the gunboat will always sail over top of you first, and then the destroyer will come over, don't know why it is but in the 50 times I've encountered them, it always works out this way.!!!
