Fisher House is a great NPO (Non-profit Organization). It allows the families of wounded servicemembers to come down to where the servicemembers are being treated and have a facility, at no cost to the dependents, where they can stay at during their time there.
Regardless of your political position on the current operations within the nation-state of Iraq, this is an organization where you can truly support the troops.
