I found a task force the other day and took out 1 Taiho carrier, 3 Taiyo carriers and 2 heavy cruisers. This was November 43 in the southern Celebes Sea. The funny thing was I had not long ago called in a convoy and was told by Sub command to peel of and RTB at my discretion! I thought this was strange because I was on my way to patrol the south china seas and this was my first contact of that mission. I begrudgingly moved away from the convoy but was still headed north to my originla mission destination (I thought that sub command had got a bit confused and when they said RTB they really meant continue with mission). Anyway a few hours later i pick up a strong radar return, and sure enough Christmas came early for the USS Balao.
As a side not i am playing this first career at pretty easy settings, I then intend to load TM and go for all out 100% realism
