i opened the .dat file and got at the crew model.
i cut down the arms and extended the wrists to give a lower arm look to the model.
i statred a mission and got the modders worst nightmare crash to desktop.
basicly the game didnt like the changes i had made to the model.
i think that it is very picky about the joints in the model. if you change them it will not like it as it cant animate it properly.
also when i opened the model it was a quite low poly version of the model. not sure why. it was definately the one for the subs crew.
ill keep at it and see what i can come up with
