i plan too. chasing down 2 heavy cruisers now, Mogami class, but had to save cuz i gotta goto work in about 40min  . as to tactics, what you can try is let them ping and locate you then when you feel they're far enuff from the TF, go deep 250-300ft and alter course as necessary and at flank speed with silent running enabled and the damage control party disabled. they have a bad habit of staying active when going silent and at battlestations . at least 2 should circle around where you were while you should be able to get closer for a better shot  . most of it's just luck, tho |
Hmmmm..... I never thought of the DC party giving me away. It's a no brainer, I must play around with that stat.
