Default Tables

This corresponds with reality. Precalculated tables were worth their weight in gold because of stress-induced errors when doing fancy trig calculations during an attack. Subs were full of cheat sheets for many occasions, providing instant and accurate information that made the difference between a successful attack and no attack at all.

I've never seen reference to this particular table in R/L, but they didn't have much specific information on Japanese shipping anyway and much of what they had was wrong, as tater has pointed out many times. I don't doubt that they could have at least derived rough speeds from this method.
