And I think you're wrong, it's not the desire to return to communism - but a desire to return to the stability that was offered by the last communist rule. For all its negative points, there was really a baby boom of sorts in the late 70s - early 80s in the USSR - and without any specific government incentives like now, there had to be socioeconomic reasons for it, right?

Otherwise I think the vast majority of people don't really miss communism much. Just stability, knowing that you'll have a job and food on the table tomorrow. Simple as that. The Soviet government between the 60s and early 80s, for all its faults, managed to provide a fairly acceptable deal for the vast majority in that regard.
Right. The same as in some other Eastern European countries. Others have adapted better.
