Aye, I remember hearing something like that. my only thought was "Well, who's been in government for the last ten years?". There's probably more news coming out of Labour than either the Tories. When both sides accuse you of favouring the other, then you're doing something right
On the Balen Report, they are technically in the right. Since the report falls under purposes of journalism, they have no obligation to publicise it under FOI. I think that they're only hurting themselves by keeping it secret, but thats opinion as opposed to law.
