Default 4 T-shirts, huh? What a coincidence!

First, I have to recommend awarding three of the t-shirts to WernerSobe, Redwine and leovampire. A nasty confrontation between the Die Slowly and Realistic Sinking Physics mod looked possible....likely.....imminent even. Modders tend to be highly opinionated people, and with the exception of CaptainCox, a bit *****ly (being censored here for a completely innocuous word. OK let's try mispelling it: "prikly") sometimes. Welcome to the world of creative people! But as evidenced by posts #57, 58 and 59 in the [REL] Realistic Sinking Physics thread, these creative, highly opinionated, fiercely competitive guys will bury the hatchet at the drop of a hat if they can work together to make a better Silent Hunter IV. And they're not killing off one of the mods to combine into one. It's coopetition time, where exchange of information makes BOTH mods amazing. I say t-shirts all around to leovampire, Redwine and WernerSobe for that!

Second, but not last by any means, CaptainCox is just hovering above the crowd with his open, immediately responsive and incredibly prolific mod writing. When someone suggests a good tweak, CaptainCox often comes out the next morning with an update, always giving full credit to the suggester. When a modder hits the wall and needs help CaptainCox is there to help, sometimes not taking any credit for his work. I've bugged him to death at times about things that he knew were outmoded (he knew Oakgroove's interior was about to wipe out any improvements I was fishing for) and he never seemed irritated. So for productivity above and beyond the call of duty (above and beyond reason itself!), he deserves a t-shirt.

Finally, and totally irrelevent to the purpose of this thread, I suggest that we give greater emphasis and recognition to training. WernerSobe's video on sonar only attack setup and execution, and two videos on full manual techniques are just as important as any mod ever produced in achieving full enjoyment of SH4. I consider them a mod to my brain and their effect is amazing. I'm sure there is much more material out there that I am not aware of.
