Oberluetnant z. See Erwin Kramer and U-104 were patrolling off Freetown June 1941. I was attacking a convoy at dusk and right when i was going to fire i had a bad feeling about something and i noticed that the ships looked like they were zig zagging, so i looked around to make sure that there werent any escorts that were closing in on me. Looked around and at bearing 250, i see a big ugly destroyer coming right at me probably 400 meters away and closing fast. Apparently my sonar guy didnt feel it was necessary to inform me about that one even though i ask where the nearest warship is every few minutes. Well anyway, i order full speed and 90 meters. at about 25 or 30 meters he caught up with me and let me have it. heavy flooding, pretty much everything damaged or destroyed. couldnt control the diving and dove to some ridiculous depth where i was crushed like a can of tuna. But even though i died a horrible horrible death, it was still awesome because of the awesome AI in GWX
