You might find you will grow tired of that, when dealing with camped money grinding spots, or trying to do a quest and being unable to because 20 other people are trying to do the exact same quest and camped all over the spawn areas making a quest that should take a few minutes take an hour or more. At least though most of the "dungeons" are instanced so you dont have to deal with that.
As for alts, heh i had piles of alts, i never actualy reached 60 with any character in the 7 months i played, i had the max number of alts allowed on the server (on 2 different servers) with a combined level of around 400+ In the end the class i liked best was the druid, just because of the variation of play style available to that class. Though people trying to force me to be a heal bot ticked me off (i was feral spec)
