Yes...
Funny thing is the batteries will recharge at the same rate regardless of ships speed. Indeed they will even charge with the engines cut off  . You still have to be in re-charge mode.
I would think that a motor running at flank would charge the batts a lot faster than one at idle (shrug). |
This has been corrected in the 1.03 patch. Now batteries only recharge while the diesels are actually running........ I think.
<edit> Damn my eyes! I was thinking of SH4 - sorry guys.
