Im a sucker for these types of gameplay - thats all you do in Guildwars you play endlessly to get the best armor then when you got it you head out to the nearest city and stand around like a dork showing off your new piece of equipment. Your so cool, on an adrenline rush, then someone will come stand next to you who has better armor, shattered off you go into the wild in search of it... for another 6 months.
