No, never!!!!
What I do is to have 1 of every 4 torps accoustic for the bow torp compartment and to be used only against destroyers. As for the aft, I have half of them accoustic. That way, every time i empty the bow tubes, I will have another accoustic eel loaded for the next salvo. But in order to have this workin the way it should, I disable the auto loading and do it manually, or else you might end up with your 4 bow tubes loaded with accoustic or no acocustics at all when you need one more than ever. At first it seems complicated, but with some practice it becomes second nature.
