On Eugene Fluckey's last patrol he had some pretty intersting equipment.
Radar mounted on the scope.
Rocket launcher with rockets.
Star shells (mistake)
Rifle grenades.
Two types of homming torpedos.
And an assortment of noisemakers.
Fluckey used all the noisemakers at once after a life and death struggle with a brand new IJN destroyer started to turn against him. He had a bad batch of MK 18s and was caught in shallow water. I think there were like 9 duds. HE used the entire supply of decoys at once and made so much noise that it allowed him to run at flank until he hit deep water.
