I think Turkey was hoping to avoid a US Invasion altogether. Although I feel sorry for the Kurds, I can understand the Turkish attitude towards any kind of Kurdish seperatist movement. |
That may very well have been the case. After all, Sadam was taking care of Turkey's Kurdish problem wasn't he?
