Which is why the extreme interpretation of that law was a stupid thing to do in the first place. I doubt very much that anyone would have made a big deal. There are laws that make sense and then there are ones that don't. There are so many laws that are unconstitutional that haven't been stricken down simply because nobody has bothered with them.
But hopefully because this is already a story that people are reading it should lead to a clarification of the law's intent to prevent any more idiocy like this from happening.
