Keep it going...we might have soon the first Balao landing on the moon...from there to a "Space Invaders" mod for SH4 there's only some 3D work needed :rotfl:

Hmm. I didn't see that variable in the tweak files I grabbed. In SH3, it was (sorta) easy. I did it once near Scapa flow by ramming the seabed at 100 knots, I "bounced" off the seabed, flew over 3 kilometers in the air (Depth gauge read -3000 meters and change) stayed pretty high for awhile, then slowly lost my momentum and came screaming back down at over 900 knots, hit the seabed floor, spun wildly like a top for a few mins and then died.
A pity I lost the screen shots I had managed to grab. I spent days fiddling around trying to get the variables precisely right to reproduce the effect, but ultimately was unsuccessful.
The physics engine appears to have been upgraded because I'm not having any luck in even getting close to reproducing the effect at all. Perhaps if I find an area where the seabed rapidly falls away at a sharp angle it might work. :hmm:
