I have ventured out to Cape Hatteras, nothing but enemy destroyers and really terrible weather. I know its March '42 but the amount of DD's are getting very silly - nothing at all like the history books. Had one DD catch me on the surface and in 15 m/s winds and heavy fog - managed to get down in time but suffered 40% reduction in hull integrity

It's been rubbish weather for nearly a week I hope it clears up soon.
