But to a WWI flier, going 100mph might feel the same as a WWI flier going 400mph. It is largely a matter of perspective.

If it was slowed down, realistic and "accurate", it might not come across as "authentic" because it would not capture the excitement and fear of WWI combat because we are too used to jets.
