Actually, if you check my list, you will see that I own 2 Atlanta class CL's.
As for the rest, I assume you have read the full list of 64 ships and a/c under the link for the official website (my own collection is quite small) - there are a few late war ships included there (although none of the others you mentioned). But this is not going to be the only set - a second set has been confirmed and will probably be released in early 2008. There is talk of a third and fourth set as well.

If you're talking about any of the boardgames, then no - the miniatures are completely out of scale in comparison to the boardgame pieces (if they were that small, I wouldn't even bother with them, actually
). Also, I don't know if they can be used together with the four land sets of Axis & Allies miniatures, but maybe someone out there has found a way to combine them (I don't collect those though).
