Yes, I (or "we") realize that.
But I've seen many WW2-photographs, showing torpedo-impacts with a whole range of colours and shades in the big splash...allthough the shades were mostly shades of white, grey, and black (due to the black&white photography, which was most common in WW2).
Of course, it's the result of where the impact was, and of which substances were present in that area of the ship.
But since we can't have a range of splashes, I'm thinking of a compromise.
