If I could sneak in everytime, what fun would that be. I personally haven't been detected every time by an Escort. But there have been times when I thought all was well, only to have to crash dive and evade to escape. To me it's much more rewarding to escape death sometimes than to rack up 100,000 tons every patrol. To be able to go home, get my crew some awards, see the family, Fatherland, and go on another patrol is reward enough.............IMO
