I just meant that currently, Iran does not have the military or industrial capacity to threaten the United States. Not counting recent improvements in United States and North Korean relations, the North Koreans are/were a lot closer to hitting the United States with an atomic missle than Iran is.
Iran is more of a "direct" threat to Israel and Europe.
