We've got a show here in Australia called "The New Inventors" where people that invent things come on , show it off and it gets voted on by a panel, (once the shows finished , theres a phone poll on the inventions for the "Peoples"choice) , end of the season the invention of the year gets help in getting their design marketed - the thompson coupling was on earlier this year and it clean swept the panel and peoples choices
