Sometime you also need to change fans, or at least clean the fan blades. Just little of dust on the fan blades can cause turbulences and the fan will just stir the air, without moving it any much.

No, its not the temperature, my room has air conditionning.
It was the gpu which was defective.
No blue screens, no artifacts in windows but the computer would freeze randomly.
And I had the graphics card tested on another computer and it still continued to freeze randomly.
